What's included

Beaudie Cullen brings this engaging 2-hour workshop to your school, offering an immersive introduction to Aboriginal culture and language. Students will experience a Welcome to Country, learn about the diversity of Aboriginal nations, and gain insights into Australia’s First Nations heritage.
Interactive activities include holding a yarning stick, participating in a yarning circle, and engaging in a language quiz to explore Dharawal/Tharawal words. Storytelling and a high-energy activity keep students involved and inspired throughout the session.
Teachers receive a lesson plan to extend learning, making it easy to integrate these cultural themes into future classroom lessons. This workshop fosters curiosity, respect, and connection to Aboriginal culture.
Students learn about the rich history and traditions of Aboriginal nations, fostering a deeper connection to First Nations heritage.
